The Great Questions of Life

There are several world-views and view points that try to answer this all important question. The creationist viewpoint from the Christian Bible makes more sense to many. The Bible says in Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth. Our loving Creator God Jesus, created the world and its contents in 6 days, and rested on the 7th day. He blessed and sactified, made holy the 7th day.

If you want to understand the meaning of life, you must know the creator in Jesus. The Voice of Hope is happy to declare that we human beings did not originate from Monkeys or Baboons. We are products from the hand of a loving Creator in Jesus. That makes us valuable, important and precious. We are the property of our Creator God in Jesus. dont believe otherwise.

God made the world in 6 days God made the world in 6 days

My purpose is to glorify my Creator who gave me life and to model my life after Him.

My purpose is to educate myself to serve humanity, and alleviate suffering. My purpose is also to educate myself about the Bible and who Jesus is, so that He is introduced as the Saviour, Lord & returning King of Kings for all humanity. My purpose is to prepare myself and others to see Jesus when he comes in great glory and power to take us home to live with Him forever - eternal life in heaven realized.

We live in a fallen world. The bible informs us that the choice of Adam and Eve to disobey our Creator God, by listening to the serpent (the Devil disguised as a serpent) to eat the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden, brought death and ruin. Ever since Adam and Eve sinned, our relationships with God, each other, and creation have been broken. In this life, we may still go hungry, get sick, grieve, and ultimately die (Romans 8:18-24; Philippians 2:25-28).

We all inherited an evil corrupt human nature from Adam and Eve because of disobedience. This world is beautiful, but its now unpredictable and insecure.

Yes, undoubtedly Jesus is God Almighty. Before he was born as a human being, He is the eternal everlasting God. He was there at the Creation of this world. The Bible says of Jesus in Philippians 2:6-7, "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Who, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death even death on a cross. Jesus is the God-Man. God in human flesh. He is a winner, place your trust in Him right now.

Yes it does. The first human beings Adam and Eve was created by a loving God in his Image. We have value, we are special to God, He loves us with an everlasting God. The Bible says, a mother may forget her suckling baby, but I will not forget you, see I have engraved your name in the palm of my hands. Glory, thank you Jesus.

Not really, we may think so, we can only reach God through Jesus Christ our Saviour and mediator. Religions are man made based on human activity in trying to please God; but the Bible says our righteousness is like filthy rags, we stand unclean before a Holy Righteous God. In addition, the Bible says, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, like sheep we have all gone astray. This is because we have inherited a corrupt sinful carnal human nature, that's why Jesus came to this world to pay the penalty for sin through his perfect righteous unblemished life. He is the only perfect Savior for mankind. Other religions have good, it does reform people, but it does not transform. Only Jesus can transform and change our corrupt human nature, our corrupt hearts now and completely when He returns to take us to Heaven to live with him.

There is a hell, but not right now as erronously taught & believed by many sincere people. According to the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, only after the executive judgment does God rain down fire to cleanse the earth of sin & evil, that is hell.

The word for hell comes from the greek word "ghenna". Ghenna was the rubbish dump outside Jerusalem it burnt all day and night. God will burn the contents of this sinful planet to ashes and re-create a new earth & heaven.

Those who die remain in their graves or wherever their ashes are. There is no truth that when a person dies, his soul goes to be with the Lord. That teaching is borrowed from greek mythology. Today its a modified hindu belief. This belief may sound comforting & hopeful; but its a false belief. It is not supported by the Bible. context of the scripture verse or chapter is vital for understanding the true meaning. its a matter of isogesis over exegesis.

According to Jesus in the book of John 5:28, "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice [vs 29] and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.

God knows each and every human living or dead. After the judgment, fire rains upon the earth and universe to cleanse it from sin & evil. That fire is hell. The wicked and righteous in Christ remain in their graves, until the resurrection. 1 Thes 4:16-19, For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. My dear friends, it is all about Jesus, Christ in you the hope of Glory. Colossians 1:27b.

Yes and no! Yes, medical science has made breakthroughs, patients are healed. Prayers for healing to the God in heaven has healed cancer patients. No, because, as long as we live in this sinful world, the search for a cure will go on. Some cancer patients will survive others will die. Because this world is fallen through sin. We long for a sin free world, thats Heaven where God lives as revealed in the Christian Bible. The Bible is a book of hope, because it points to Jesus who is the God of hope.
Not in this world. All attempts to prolong life will fail, because we have a sinful corrupt human nature, that is subject to death. The good news is that only at the Second Coming of Jesus in power and great glory, he will resurrection the faithful and those who are alive and remain, will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, we all will be changed as we ascend to meet Christ in the air to live with him forever in heaven, where there is no more death, sorrow, pain and sickness. This is fantastic news, known as the blessed hope of man. You should be really glad.
In the Bible Jesus has promised a new heaven and a new earth the home of the saved, for the faithful ones who believe and follow Jesus. This present earth which is infested with sin, sickness and disease, will be cleansed by fire, it will be made new by Jesus. Science has its own version of the future of this planet, its just speculation. the bible says in 2Peter 3:10; But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

The last century — just the last decade, even — has seen astonishing leaps forward in science and technology, as we've gained a better understanding of our world and how it functions. But while science has the answers for questions our ancestors would never have believed we'd figure out, there remain many huge questions that have yet to get fully satisfying answers.

I am afraid science cannot answer satisfactorily the deep questions of life, only the Christian Bible provides comforting answers.
