You can be ready for His Coming by opening your heart and trusting him as your Savior and Lord, seeking His forgiveness of your sins. Christ in you the hope of Glory. The Hope of the ages is "Come Lord Jesus Come - Maranatha - Revelation 22:20 "He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
There is a hell, but not right now as erronously taught & believed by many sincere people. According to the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, only after the executive judgment does God rain down fire to cleanse the earth of sin, evil and the unbelievers aligned with satan. That is hell. There is no truth that those unbelievers who have died are gone to a fiery pit of suffering & torment. Our God is not a monster to find pleasure seeing people suffer. He is the Saviour of the world. The fire annihilates to ashes. Hell is to be separated from the presence of God forever. That's suffering at its worst. To late.
The word for hell comes from the greek word "ghenna". Ghenna was the rubbish dump outside Jerusalem it burnt all day and night. God will burn the contents of this sinful planet to ashes and re-create a new earth & heaven. According to the picture of ghenna, the fire is not everlasting, every day rubbbish was dumped even dead bodies until they burned to ashes, then the next load was dumped.
Heaven is a real place, not a pie in the sky. In the Bible book of Revelation 21,
A New Heaven and a New Earth 1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”.
